Like most family businesses for the past 30 plus years John Jr. I have found himself working in both the publishing business Mid-American farmer grower, the Annual Ag Conservation Systems Conferences as well as the professional photography studio. Starting at an early age I have had an entrepreneur spirit for business adventures. My professional biography also includes buying, rehabbing, renting, and selling residential and commercial real estate, as well as hosting and teaching business seminars on marketing, management, and leadership as well as a business consultant. I have been a photography instructor at the Perryville Career Center, where I have served for 24 years. I’m a past president and vice-president of a Perryville Missouri Rotary Club, I have served as a two-term president on a Missouri Area Career Center and Business Industry Council, I am a past member of Toastmasters, and I have been active in other community and business organizations. Volunteer experiences include work with non-profits such as Goodwill, a local homeless shelter, the Salvation Army, and the St. Vincent De Paul Church. My passion for humanity is rooted in the personal and professional goal of “inspiring the world one person at a time.” My new focus is on a new global effort with AgWiki.com. The idea of AgWiki came to me back in 2008 when I penciled out a plan to help feed the world. Then in late 2012 my father and I created a partnership to vet the idea. That process which has taken hours and hours of hard work has brought us to where we are today, building AgWiki..com. Our hope is to bring together Growers, Researchers, and industry to share Information, Education, and relationship to help feed the world.

John M LaRose Sr. is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of AgWiki, Inc. He created and is President of the National Conservation Systems Conferences Inc. and Steering Committee Chairman, one of the United States' largest Annual Agriculture Educational Conferences. This year, 2021, will make the 24th year that seven major mid-south State Universities from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas have partnered with the National Conservation Systems Conferences to produce these conferences for American agriculture producers. Historically the three-day conference has over 100 speaker presentations, with approximately half being presented by Ph.D.’s in all agriculture disciplines. In 2019, after 39 years as Publisher of MidAmerica Farm Publication Inc.(MAFG), John retired as publisher/President of the Corporation. The seven-state weekly Agriculture Publication grew out of a page devoted to Agriculture in a weekly County Newspaper in his home town that John owned and later sold. Weekly MAFG continues to cover local, national, and international agriculture news. Johns reporting on national and international agriculture took him throughout the U.S. and the world. John accompanied (as the only news media person) multiple National Agriculture Commodity Organizations Trade Missions throughout Mexico, Cuba, Central and South American countries, Central and Eastern European countries, and Russia. During recent years John traveled on USDA Agriculture Trade Missions to China, Romania, and Ukraine with Under and Acting Secretary of Agriculture. In 1992 after 29 years of successfully operating professional photography businesses in three different Missouri communities, John retired from the Professional Photography business. The photography business continues today after 69 years. John entered college to study law and elected to leave the university system to begin his career in entrepreneurial endeavors.

Recognized for creating stakeholder relationships that align with business imperatives. I have nearly 25 years of experience ranging from Food, Health Care, Agriculture, and Biotechnology. Business development and executive management have been the backbone of my career. Building relationships across the agriculture and food industry has always been a core focus and skill. My career has included working for three Fortune 200 companies and supporting numerous other leading corporations while serving as a senior leader with dynamic public relations and marketing organizations.
