Bill has a true systems view with 40 years in embedded architecture work on all levels of hardware and software. He has led systems at GE, Ericsson, and RIM/Blackberry. He is an expert in 2G-5G, Bluetooth, IoT, and semiconductor IC design. With expertise in wireless protocols, hardware design, and software he has been key to WiRays development.

Johnny, an EE from NCSU, has a broad career spanning systems, project & product management, and sales & marketing. While at Ericsson, STMicroelectronics, Fingerprints, and multiple startups, he has led semiconductor product efforts that shipped millions, while gaining expertise in wireless infrastructure, wireless chipsets, biometrics, and IoT.

Arunesh Goswami
Photonics Expert

Dr. Goswami, LUMEOVA's Photonics device expert, pioneers ultra-fast photonic device and circuit development. He specializes in optoelectronics integration and high-frequency design. He holds multiple patents for devices/materials of WiRays® modules and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NC State with a focus on compound semiconductor devices.

Bami Bastani
Chairman of Advisory Board

Dr. Bastani is a prominent semiconductor leader with over 40 years of executive positions at Intel, Fujitsu and as CEO of Meru Networks, Trident Microsystems & ANADIGICS. He also led GlobalFoundries multi-billion dollar Mobile & Wireless business as SVP & GM. He is currently Chairman of the Board at Sivers Semiconductor, and Board member at IQE.

Alexander McCann
Advisor

Mr. McCann is a seasoned semiconductor executive with experience as COO of Linear Technology, SVP at Dialog, & VP at Anadigics. Currently he is a Partner at Alexa Capital, President at Fortan Advisors, and Director at Probe Test Solutions UK Ltd.

Brian A Floyd
Advisor

Dr. Floyd is an expert on high frequency Si integrated circuits & systems for wireless communications. He has extensive experience and is the 2023 Innovator of the Year and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NCSU, directing the Integrated Circuits & Systems lab.
