Sun & Swell seems like the next iteration of a "let's-cut-out-the-middleman-and-reduce-prices DTC" product brand position, wrapped in a compostable/good for the earth marketing wrapper. Grocery is notoriously one of the slimmest margin industries, so trying to find a price point below current retail while increasing quality will be a tall task to accomplish especially when not nearly at the same scale.
