At a $95m valuation, I at least expect the company to make up some mind-boggling return figures. Instead, WeaponX is pre-production, and worse, doesn't have defensible IP (yet - the company applied for a patent in 2021). The founding team all appear to be related and work at the same plastics company, which isn't WeaponX. So, we're left with a sky-high valuation for a new, unproven technology, where the entire team isn't comfortable funding or running it from a decades-old business.
